Skills for the Future

This week, I asked the interns to think about skills they have learned this year beyond their daily job-specific tasks. I wanted them to think about what they have learned that they will be able to use at any job they decide to take in the future. Take a look at their answers:

“This year at Cox I learned how to remember names of my coworkers.  I learned how to travel on MARTA, and I learned how to manage my schedule without setting alarms.” -Jazmin

“I learned how to set some alarms on my phone. I learned about safety in Unique Learning, and I learned how to get ready for work on my own.” -Moe

“I set my alarm to make sure I’m at work on time. I put important information in my calendar so I don’t forget about it. I text Traci or Susan or my boss if I’m running late for work.” -Bailey

Only one more week until Spring Break! Have a great weekend.
